Well Chip Group Berhad successfully held its 3rd Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) on 22 June 2026 at the Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel. The event brought together shareholders, directors, management, and guests for a meaningful session to review the Group’s progress, share insights, and discuss future plans.
During the AGM, shareholders were presented with an overview of Well Chip Group Berhad’s FY2025 performance and achievements. The Group recorded a revenue of RM270.2 million and a Profit After Tax of RM86.1 million, representing the highest profit in the Group’s history. Shareholders were also updated on the Group’s continued expansion, with its pawnbroking network growing to 27 outlets and conditional approvals obtained for 12 additional outlets to support future growth.
A highlight of the event was the sharing session by Director, Mr. Yeah, who shared his views on business, industry trends, and future opportunities. Shareholders were encouraged by the Group’s positive outlook, supported by growing demand for pawnbroking services, expansion plans, and ongoing efforts to create long-term value for stakeholders. The session also provided an opportunity for shareholders to gain a deeper understanding of the Group’s direction and aspirations for the years ahead.
The AGM concluded with an engaging Q&A session where shareholders actively participated by sharing their thoughts, asking questions, and providing valuable feedback. The positive atmosphere, filled with constructive discussions and laughter, reflected the strong relationship between Well Chip Group Berhad and its shareholders.
